Painting is a language that depends on the interaction of the colors chosen by the artist; Lines, brushstrokes, rhythms harmonize with each other; Structured by the recognizable and unrecognizable images, compose “special words" to convey “eternal" or “improvisational" inner sensation.
Hill Town Story The small town lies on the edge of a stream and a forest. After the new railway was completed, commuters stopped coming by train. The old station still stands quietly in its original place. A couple walks by, and the woman says, “Oh! it’s already autumn."
In a quiet corner of Guangfu Xin Village in Wufeng, an elderly man pointed to a camphor tree with bright, radiant leaves and told me that when he was in high school, he personally planted this row of four camphor trees. Over fifty years have passed, and the old trees have grown into a lush forest, providing delightful shade that shields the narrow lane from the summer heat. He said, “My father built the house himself, and I planted the trees with my own hands. Despite the damage from the 921 earthquake, I have stayed and will not leave." Here, land, life, and history are all emotionally connected.
Every new beginning often asked “What’s the philosophy? ” and “What is your specialty?" Usually the answer always isn’t expected. Mu Guang Artists’ Society will not pay attention to these, just paint what you like and never stop. Who knows the future? When I was a bud, will it be red or purple flower? When the season come and it is time to show the true color. In fact, the shape or the name are not so important. As soon as it blooms, a joyful heart blooms.
In creation, I sense emotions flowing with the rhythm of motion and stillness, moving from visual intuition to the depths of the inner self. Through repeated exploration, I discover different stages of myself and the richness of life. Thus, creation becomes both dream and belief, a force that carries me forward.
This shore is neither land nor water, but the intersection of boundaries. Looking at the other shore in the distance from this shore transforms into the imagination of distance and belonging in our hearts, forming an invisible line of defense.

內在情感似火焰般無拘無束的流動延伸,框架對應著塵封記憶,象徵一場無邊無際生命之旅的追尋。
Inner emotions flow and extend freely like flames. The frame corresponds to dusty memories and also symbolizes the pursuit of an endless journey of life.
This work in teal tones is an emotional journey. The interweaving of blocks of color has a calm appearance, yet contains deep fluctuations, like a tangle in order. The stacking of each layer of color and the direction of the brushstrokes describe memory as a familiar yet unfamiliar forest, tightly surrounding the shackles of daily life, sometimes extending outwards, like an impulse to break free, but always restrained by the inner heart. is bound by order.
There is a subtle sense of contradiction: there is order but chaos, struggle but also peace. This is my deep understanding of life. The faint bright colors in the painting are like the hope that emerges from the cracks in life, shuttling back and forth between depression and hope.
What I want to express is the concentration and projection of emotions, resonance and struggle, as well as those unspeakable moments in life.
Are hot and cold allowed to be independent and show each other in the same space?
In the gray-scale blue color block in the background of the work, a focused order of passionate and warm red appears, accompanied by the rhythm of beating flames, running through each other ,
The relationship between left and right, up and down, and front and back hides emotional fluctuations in the process of searching for conflict and reconciliation. It prompts us to perceive and understand the unnoticeable turmoil and changes.
In the process of creation, I discover that the stronger, the faster the rhythm in my brush is, the more intense my emotions are shown. It is satisfying, however, I found it’s hard to bear the power of silence. With the composition of the buildings, the bridges and the street lamps in the picture, it’s like time telling a story tempered by the history of thousands of years. “It is the water city under the mask."
When reification turns into abstraction, the texture revealed by the bright and warm colors is a display of calm and romance. I gradually realized the spirit of not pursuing excessively, slowing down and waiting patiently. The creation of repeating over and over again will finally transform into the strength that brings you inner peace and makes you move forward.
Open the Blue Door Mixed Media Owing to the course on texture, my creations adopted a faint, fine and careful tone, and I indulged myself in low-color grayscale pictures. The texture at the bottom was slightly revealed; the shadows appeared through layers, and the repeated lines were constantly revised. In the process, joy and anger are intertwined into fusion of complex thoughts. When I let the weakness move into stability, it inadvertently left a response. What it awakened was my inner thoughts, “Open the blue door, and you will see the way forward."
不經意的一道光,從東邊的腳落鑽了進來,透著一絲絲的暖意,爬過畫布的邊緣,走進畫布裡,與畫中的霞光相遇,為海藍帶來瀲灩的光,即便是那樣不起眼的剎那間 First Light A sliver of light, unannounced, steals in from the east. With a whisper of warmth, it creeps over the canvas’s edge and journeys into the scene itself. There, it encounters the painted dawn, blessing the sea of blue with a glistening radiance, even for just an inconspicuous instant.

Turning the Corner, Finding the Light: A Symphony of Light and Shadow This painting uses rich blacks and soft blue-gray tones to depict towering mountains and a deep canyon, creating a tranquil yet mysterious atmosphere. At the center of the composition, a golden beam of light pierces through layers of darkness, illuminating the winding river below, serving as the visual focus of the entire piece. This light seems to symbolize hope, bringing brightness to a world shrouded in shadow. The theme, “Turning the Corner, Finding the Light," resonates deeply with the composition. The twists and turns of the canyon evoke life’s moments of confusion and hardship, while the light serves as a reminder that even when the path ahead seems uncertain, continuing forward may lead to unexpected brightness around the corner. Overall, this work not only showcases the beauty of contrast between light and shadow but also conveys a profound message of perseverance and hope. It invites viewers to not only appreciate the artwork but also reflect on their own inner journeys—moving forward through darkness to ultimately find their own light.
At the end of life, everyone has dreams they wish to fulfill. With this motivation, after many ups and downs, the three of us brothers set off on a journey to see a mountain. Mount Fuji, we are coming to see you! Having never traveled together since childhood, the three brothers decided to embark on this journey before our youngest brother’s life comes to an end, as assessed by his doctors. Led by our Japan-savvy father, Mr. Huang, the family took a free-spirited trip to Japan’s tallest peak to overlook the small world of surrounding mountains. As time changes and the stars shift, the old friends have left, but the mountains and rivers remain!
Everyone harbors some degree of fear and dread within their hearts, whether it be a tangible life form or an event casting an unshakable shadow in their mind. These fears are deeply etched into our memories. As each person’s life progresses, some will gradually come to terms with and conquer their fears, while others will continuously accumulate them until they eventually erupt. The author attempts to transform these abstract concepts into visual images to express and depict the inner world’s fears. Through the medium of painting, the author conveys their inner world. Friends are welcome to join and experience the author’s inner redemption from fear!

This artwork depicts city buildings, conveying that architecture is not cold or lifeless but holds countless hidden stories and interactions. The square building shapes resemble messages, symbolizing the multi-layered communication within the city. The dynamic colors beneath represent the flow of these stories and emotions inside the structures, expressing an organic and vibrant vitality. The overall composition reveals the warmth and pulse of the city, inviting viewers to sense the life concealed within the buildings and the untold narratives they embody.
“Urban Oasis," I aim to present the precious greenery in modern cities through the interplay of colors and shapes. The artwork features contrasting blocks of color that symbolize the diverse forms of skyscrapers, depicting a busy yet orderly urban scene. The arrangement of these blocks highlights the varying heights of buildings, subtly reflecting the diversity and complexity of city life. Between these tall structures, I designed a green corridor, representing the rare natural greenery within the Taichung City boasts numerous parks and green corridors, which I often visit for exercise and relaxation. Walking into a tree-lined corridor feels like escaping the noise of traffic and chaos, replaced by a serene atmosphere. This environment encourages one to slow down and reconnect with nature’s beauty. For those of us in a concrete jungle, these green spaces serve as hidden oases, offering a brief escape from urban pressures.
《time passes like light》captures the changing light on the water’s surface with its unique segmented composition, symbolizing the passage of time. The scene features the soft light of dawn, the afterglow of dusk, and the faint light of night, seemingly narrating the different moments of a day.
This segmented composition technique not only enhances the depth of the artwork but also makes each fragment of light and shadow a unique moment. When combined, they form a panoramic view of the flow of time. The changing light on the water’s surface evokes memories, reminding us to cherish each moment.
“Light Reflecting on Water" through the interaction of light and water, allows viewers to feel the relentless passage of time and the preciousness of each fleeting moment. With its poetic expression, it profoundly interprets the theme of time.
Indoor sunset The artist is always in search of the content they wish to present. A piece of artwork is an extension of oneself; during the process of painting, it is about solidifying one’s emotions and feelings through lines and colors. The background of this painting is the windowsill in my living room. On a leisurely afternoon with nothing to do, I watched the sunset slowly shine into the house. In a short period, the changes in light and color were incredibly beautiful, and I wanted to capture the impressions and feelings of that moment. This is a small, touching part of my daily life that is closest to me. Beauty is not lacking around us; it just requires careful appreciation.

In a quiet alley, nestled between scattered buildings and slanted paths, sunlight filters through layers of tree shadows, creating an interplay of light and shade. The color palette weaves together shades of gray with warm tones, adding depth while evoking a sense of tranquility and warmth. The cat in the painting sits silently in a corner, as if it has found its own cozy space, savoring a moment of serenity in a leisurely afternoon. This artwork not only captures the unique charm of alleyways but also conveys a sense of ease and harmony in life.
This artwork aims to express the profound connection between humanity and nature. The distant mountains offer a sense of deep visual extension, suggesting the unknown and infinite possibilities of the future. The vibrant flowers in the foreground symbolize the diversity and richness of life. The presence of a little girl amidst the flowers imbues the scene with a carefree innocence, drawing the viewer back to a state of pure mind, reminiscent of the intimate bond with nature during childhood. The afternoon light and shadows not only enhance the depth of the painting but also symbolize the passage of time and the eternity of the moment. Through the combination of these elements, the artwork emphasizes the beauty of nature and its resonance with the human spirit, reminding us to cherish the present and appreciate every simple, beautiful moment. In this painting, nature, childhood, and time come together to form a quiet, poetic composition.
In a small, remote corner of the world, a tranquil landscape unfolds in its own unique style.

In view of “Huainanzi Tianwen (Celestial patterns),” “the upper and the lower quadrants are called Yu, and the past and present are called Zeus.” Therefore, Yu demonstrates the space as well as Zeus illustrates the time, leading to the word “universe” which is the so-called “space-time” where we are. This artistic creation is made of abstract and imaginative lines and waveforms, whose intersecting images create a sense of virtualism and top-down view, with lines ranging from thin to thick, waving a multifaceted spatial interlacing; in addition, each line seems to have an everlasting story to be told.
夢回沖繩/壓克力媒材/40F/2024 “An Amazing Glimpse of Okinawa” The concept for this artwork demonstrates that Okinawa’s beauty is full of my favorite flowers and the seashore sceneries; therefore, this piece is made of my favorite elements in view of such an amazing glimpse of Okinawa. The ideology of this painting starts from a distant view of a rising wall as well as the street lamps slowly lighting up on the other side of the road. Besides, the twilight often induces rich and unique emotions and feelings from people, in addition to letting go of the pressure and busyness of life, enjoying a moment of peace and satisfaction, and waiting for a new day.
