This artwork, dominated by fiery red tones, portrays the surging emotions and subconscious energy within a dream. The red evokes flames, symbolizing passion, desire, and unease, while the scattered fragments of color represent fleeting moments of memory—elusive yet deeply imprinted. The interplay between blurred and sharp forms suggests the fragile boundary between reality and dreams, chaotic yet poetic. The piece invites viewers to experience dreams as a burning fire of life, revealing the most genuine emotions hidden within the illusion.

《玉山》以鮮明的色彩與奔放的筆觸，描繪出台灣最高峰的雄偉與靈性。畫面中冷暖色的交錯，象徵著自然中相生相剋的平衡，也映照出人心中的矛盾與和諧。山頂覆雪，散發出靜謐的力量，而山腰的色彩流動，則展現大地的活力與呼吸。我希望藉由這幅作品，不僅表現玉山的壯麗，更傳達人與自然共存的深刻連結，以及對生命不息的讚頌。

Artistic Concept
“Yushan” captures the grandeur and spirit of Taiwan’s highest peak through vivid colors and dynamic brushstrokes. The interplay of cool and warm tones reflects the harmony and tension that exist within both nature and the human heart. The snow-capped summit radiates a quiet strength, while the flowing colors across the slopes embody the earth’s vitality and breath. This painting is not only a portrayal of Yushan’s majestic presence but also a meditation on the interconnectedness of humanity and nature.

My creative theme is “Dreams of Youth,” expressed through vibrant colors and free-flowing strokes to capture the energy, aspirations, and confusion of adolescence. Each brushstroke and layer reflects emotional expression, symbolizing the intensity, chaos, and diversity of youth. The painting is abstract, allowing viewers to interpret their own memories and feelings about youth. Golden tones represent hope and growth, while the clash of pink and blue illustrates the conflict and blending of dreams and reality.

This is the second piece in the “Dreams of Youth” series, using more intricate layers and diverse color language to depict the contradictions and explorations of youth. The arch bridge symbolizes the connection between life stages, while the contrast of light and dark beneath it reflects the clash between dreams and reality. The blend of pink and yellow conveys the intensity of youth, with blue accents representing calmness and introspection. The abstract composition invites viewers to recall and feel the ineffable moments and emotions from their own journey through youth.

This painting, titled “Dreams of Youth," is my interpretation of the youthful years. Red symbolizes passion and energy, white represents innocence and hope, yellow signifies creativity and joy, and blue stands for calmness and wisdom. The intricate lines within the painting depict the complexity and challenges of adolescence, yet also its boundless possibilities. Each stroke mirrors a moment in youth, full of vigor yet tinged with uncertainty. Through these colors and lines, I aim for the viewers to feel the passion, confusion, and hope of youth, and to reflect on their own dream-filled times.

Blue Mist This abstract painting draws inspiration from the depths of the ocean and the vastness of the sky, utilizing varying shades of blue and irregular lines to capture the infinite changes and dynamic beauty of nature. Blue symbolizes tranquility, contemplation, and endless possibilities, while the irregular lines represent the randomness and variations in life. The overall composition aims to guide the viewer into a freely flowing space, experiencing the dialogue between colors and shapes, and evoking personal resonance and reflection.

The rock symbolizes steadfastness and eternity, while the moon represents cyclical change and mystery. The lines emphasize the interconnectedness of nature, and the gradient colors depict the passage of time and emotional fluctuations. This piece seeks to find balance between stillness and movement, reflecting the eternal themes of nature and humanity’s desire for stability and transformation.
